3 nerdy things you need to know about lemon oil

It was so awesome reading all of your personal testimonials on LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL from last month in the closed Star Anise Essentials FB page – WOW! What a VERSATILE oil!
 
Here are 3 nerdy things you need to know about lemon oil:

  • Lemon oil (like all citrus oils) is high in d-lemonene. There are over 50 clinical trials on the ability of d-lemonene to kill cancer cells. 

  • Lemon oil cleans the vitamin D receptor sites of our cells so our cells can update more vitamin D from sunshine, food, drinks, and supplements. 

  • Lemon oil is made from the lemon rind, not the lemon juice so unlike lemon juice (where the acid is), lemon oil does NOT affect the enamel on your teeth in the same way that lemon juice does.

I have bottles of lemon oil all around the house:

  • One in my LAUNDRY for my 3 ingredient natural bleach with hydrogen peroxide and Thieves Household Cleaning Concentrate (recipe in the DIY section of the EO101 guide) and to add to my Thieves laundry liquid when doing a load of whites.

  • One in my ENSUITE/BATHROOM to apply to my face at night as a natural chemical peel (don’t use during the day on the skin as it is photosensitive) and to rub on my boobs as its high in d-lemonene for its anti-cancer properties.

  • One in my KITCHEN pantry to add to a glass of water or in recipes esp if I run out of fresh lemons.

  • One under my kitchen SINK to make my 3 ingredients DIY automatic dishwasher powder  with bicarb and Thieves Household Cleaning Concentrate (recipe in the DIY section of the EO101 guide).

  • One on my OILS SHELF for diffusing for focus and concentration or to add to oily capsules esp if feeling sniffly and to scrub off stains on walls and on benches.
