After I had my babies I just knew that corporate life wasn’t for me. I wanted to pursue my passion in the health and wellness industry, be my own boss, work from home, set my own agenda, and above all make a genuine impact at the grass roots level.

I had no idea at the time that my Young Living business (that I fell into after a harrowing mould experience in my home) would tick all of the boxes and more. I was an essential oils skeptic, had no idea what networking was, had no idea that Young Living was a networking company, or even had a business arm attached to it. I just fell in love with the magic of their products and knew that they were somehow completely different to anything else on the market – they actually worked!!! I resisted and resisted the business side of it for a long time like an ostrich with my head buried in the sand. I was all about their products, not the profit, not the business side. I was already neck high deep in running my Star Anise Organic Wholefoods business and Broth Bar & Larder. Did I want another business? Absolutely not. Just. Not. Interested. I had no idea that simply by connecting others with YL by sharing the products in my own unique way I was already on my way to creating the most fabulous business I could ever dream of. When the revenue started surpassing my Star Anise Organic Wholefoods, with a fraction of the expenses, headaches, and work, I started giving it a little bit more of my attention. Then when I finally got over my fear of MLMs and understood how it all worked (I agree with Warren Buffet- it’s a bloody genius model by the way!) I started to attract like-minded no-BS women who shared my passion and vision, and my YL business exploded.
